Hello everyone! Just thought I'd write you a little update. First and foremost, school starts for me on Tuesday. I'm actually quite excited. I'm pretty sure that school is going to help my French a lot. The school days are much longer here. I'm not sure how much, I'll have to get back to you with that.

As for what I did this week I'd have to say my highlights included a 36km bike ride through Liege and the towns outside it with my Brazilian Friend Vinicius. We biked up river through a beautiful town called Tilf up to another town which I don't know the name of. The river is littered with ducks, geese, and swans! They are quite comfortable around humans too. I was able to feed some of the wild geese straight from my hands. I have pictures of it all which I will post on my facebook account.

The day after my biking adventure I commenced an even greater one. All of the exchange students from around Liege rode the train to Brussels, the capital of Belgium to meet all of the students from the district and for a day tour of the king's palace and the Belgian senate. We participated in a ceremony in which we all marched into the senate with other students from our countries. In the senate we were addressed by the chairman of our Rotary District, and the president of the Senate. I also got to meet the Canadian ambassador to Belgium!

My final and funnest activity in the last while was participating in the Rotary Youth Exchange Orientation. It took place in the city of Wii. Although a lot of the orientation was listening to rules and regulations of the exchange, we also had a walking tour of Wii and a dance that night!

I'm growing fonder and fonder of Belgium, although living outside of PEI for the first time has made me realize how much I love PEI and the people on it. I miss you all very much and think about you often.
